Calvin Crest
The Trail
Calvin Crest mtb trail is located on the bluffs of the Platte River. 95% of the trail is in deciduous pine and cedar trees. The trail starts along the top of the bluff with swoopy descents and climbs averaging 5% or less. Throughout the trail you’ll flow along many false flats, through some choke points, and across bridges. Descend a 100′ bluff via five switchbacks to the river bottom. Please stay off the suspension bridge. The trail flattens along the Platte River bottom before turning inland for a rolling quarter mile climb up the bluff face to a sidewalk that leads back to the parking lot.
The trail is about 4-5 miles in length. Level: easy to moderate
The Venue
The trail is located at Calvin Crest Camp Conference and Retreat Center. Please observe the private property rules mentioned on the mtb trail page.
